The Excellent support HP’s unique PhotoREt IV color layering technology, which makes it possible absolutely true-color images to print in photo quality. PhotoREt IV can 289 degrees of depth of each color create (17 in the previous models) and offers a complete color palette of over 1.2 million colors.

The printer uses unlike most competing products, commercial standard HP cartridges.
